2 large pears
1⁄4 cup whipping cream
1⁄3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
- In a Multipurpose Pot, warm mulled apple juice over medium heat. Peel, core, and cut each pear in half vertically.
- Once warm, add pears and poach until fork-tender. Reserve liquid.
- In a separate Multipurpose Pot, bring whipping cream to a boil. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted. Stir in vanilla.
- Place poached pears on a serving plate and drizzle with warm chocolate sauce. Serve with a warm mug of the mulled apple juice used to poach the pears.
